Today, more than ever, it becomes essential to create and experiment with alternative social models that are in line with nature and human beings.

Creating community represents a true alchemy, requiring various and specific ingredients to move from a collection of individuals to a close-knit group that lives, dreams and creates together.

For 47 years we have been creating communities and groups by combining the ancient art of social alchemy with the most modern knowledge of sociology, political science, communication and strategy.

Will I leave the world better than I found it? This is one of the questions we asked ourselves 47 years ago at the beginning of our community experience. Changing the world is not easy, but what we can do is leave a trace through our actions that a better world is possible.

Who are we?

We are a large group of researchers who have been helping to build the Damanhur Community Federation for 47 years.

Since 2007, our trainers have been creating communities and groups like true alchemists transmuting lead into gold.
Social and political science, communication and self-sufficiency are some of the themes we pursue.

Damanhur

Damanhur is a Federation of Spiritual Communities founded in 1975 in the Piedmont foothills.It is an experience of searching for the profound values of existence, conducted through exploration in every sphere: in the field of, shared life, culture, art, the search for Consciousness and the subtle energies that guide the 'universe.

In 2005, the United Nations Organization recognized him as a "Model of Sustainable Society" award.

THE TEAM OF TRAINERS

Coboldo Melo

A journalist and expert in politics and communication, he has lived in the Damanhur Community Federation for 37 years.
Over the years he has held many roles related to governance and socio-political development inside and outside Damanhur.
Co-creator and director of the Community School.

Husky Vaniglia

A social work researcher, she has lived in the Damanhur Community Federation for 38 years.
She holds roles related to leading communities, their economic and organizational management.
Co-creator of the Community School since 2005 where she teaches how to create successful communities.

Macaco Tamerice

She has lived in the Damanhur Community Federation for 28 years and is a community expert, sociologist and life coach.
She has held many leadership roles both within the community and within the Global Ecovillage Network.
Representative to the United Nations for several NGOs.
She has been teaching and organizing the Ecovillage Design Education course for many years.

Entello

With a degree in Sociology, he has been co-founder of Assamil Urban Community since 2014. He works and researches in the field of Energy Healing and social work.

Luccio

A sociology graduate, he has been co-founder of Assamil Urban Community since 2014.
Passionate about communication, group facilitation and social innovation.

Barys Elleboro

With a degree in political science, he is passionate about strategy and politics, which he applies in the development of the Damanhur Community Federation, his birthplace.

Lucertola Pepe

She has been living and participating in building the Damanhur Community Federation for 27 years. She is a spiritual healer and studies in the area of communication with the plant world and alchemy. She teaches in the Damanhur School of Meditation.
